Tangerines, le Carre novels and Sigur Ros

"If you’re the kind of person who prefers freedom to security, who feels more comfortable in a small room than a large one and who finds that happiness comes from matching your wants to your needs, then running to stand still isn’t where your joy lies."
That excerpt from a column by Pico Iyer, in today's Times, about leading the simple life.

Le Carre novels leave me feeling despondent and bitter. Tangerines, on the other hand, have a much better aftertaste.

Those are appropriate reactions, but what about Sigur Ros? Their album liner notes usually leave me baffled, to say the least :)

Never heard (or heard of) them. Had to wiki-check to see that they were an Icelandic rock group and not a wine label.
