From the Foreign Policy blog, a post about the confusion over the name of the terrorist captured in Mumbai. (I saw one blog refer to him as "Bloody Asshole" in the title of the post. There, fixed, Space Bar)
today's nytimes says that these guys get to change their names periodically, ostensibly so they cannot be identified. i think it also serves a second purpose - strips them of a sense of self so they are less encumbered in doing what they are created to do.

TR: That's interesting. Bit like "I am a number, not a name". So they strip themselves of their selves - except one self, maybe.
We are the blog that this article is referring about. Anything wrong about featuring this article?
