Falstaff: that was my first reaction too. But his medium is photography....

Somewhat late to comment. The photographs are very nice. In between, You see some bog trees which seem quite old. I wonder whether many have been cut down at some stage for fuel and farming. Replanting may not be a a bad idea if done carefully. Eucalyptus is known to be bad in many areas, but accacia (the Indian versions) are common in such terrain and may be ok.
